Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The Missouri Baptist Medical Center Cardiac Testing department is a diagnostic testing center which focuses on identifying and evaluating cardiac disease processes. The department is comprised of RNs, cardiac sonographers, ECG techs, Nuclear Medicine technologists and administrative staff. The Cardiac Testing staff works in collaboration with Cardiologists to deliver high quality services to patients and their physicians.

Role Purpose
Sets up and performs scanning of holter monitors, including patient preparation, scanning and analysis. May perform EKG and other diagnostic tests. Processes EKG reports including electronic transmission, editing of results and distributing completed reports.
Responsibilities
Performs general office duties.
Ensures all equipment is cleaned, stocked, available, and kept in working order.
Supports and demonstrates the continuous improvements of quality and service.
Ensures charges are entered correctly and timely.
Performs tests and procedures according to department policy.
