Job DescriptionGeneral SummaryOversees Access Center staff and the University of Maryland Medical System bed management process. Responsible for ensuring the success of the UMMS's strategic objectives and mission as they relate to patient access, patient flow, growth of market share, customer satisfaction and optimal utilization of health system partners. Formulates and recommends changes in patient flow to hospital executives. Schedules the Access Center Nurse Coordinators and acts as a resource for questions/problem solving.
