We have an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Sample Coordinator to join our team in Madison, WI.
Position Summary:
Performs a variety of sample management responsibilities in compliance with appropriate SOP?s and regulatory guidelines, in support of departmental operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs any combination of sample management tasks, including labeling, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples.
- Reviews sample paperwork against samples to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel and assists with problem solving.
- Communicates confirmation of sample receipt to clients, if appropriate.
- Handles internal customer inquiries and requests.
- Distributes sample information and paperwork.
- Responsible for entry and accuracy of sample tracking systems.
- Introduces and develops improvement ideas for the group with the assistance of others.
- Certified as an authorized environmental system monitor as appropriate.
- Maintains storage units
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
