The Orlando Health Cancer Institute Center at Bayfront Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncologist to join our team as a pool physician. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of cancer patients in West Florida while working in a state-of-the-art oncology program.
A successful candidate is expected to have good interpersonal skills, must be skilled in modern radiation oncology practice, and have the aptitude to work within a strong multidisciplinary team. This position will provide comprehensive clinical coverage at Orlando Healths Bayfront Health Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Our practice currently has 11 Radiation Oncologists across all of our locations. The physicians work alongside a talented medical physics team that includes 8.5 photon-clinic physicists, 2.5 proton-clinic physicists, 2 therapy physics residents, 11 Medical Dosimetrists, 2 medical physics assistants, and a medical physics research fellow. Our program is currently experiencing significant growth with physical expansion opportunities across the Central Florida and St Petersburg area.
Position Requirements:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
Successful completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited training program(s)
Unrestricted FL medical license (or ability to obtain one) and DEA
