Patient Access Manager
OverviewWorks collaboratively with other Patient Access Managers, clinical management, Manager of Patient Financial Services and other WakeMed leaders to anticipate, integrate and coordinate services that optimize patient satisfaction, clinical and fiscal outcomes, and Revenue Cycle goals. Plans, monitors, and is accountable for the overall management and delivery of the following services: patient registration and/or ED registration, point-of-service collections, and customer service. Ensures front-end administrative denials are managed and prevented to maximize financial reimbursement.
