The University of Florida Department of Pediatrics is seeking a fourth board certified/board eligible Pediatric Hematology/Oncology physician at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. This is a 1.0 FTE non-tenure accruing faculty appointment with the Department’s Pediatric Subspecialty Program located in Pensacola, Florida at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital.
The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology is an active member of COG and sees about 40 new oncology patients per year. Bone marrow transplant services are performed at several regional partner institutions. Benign hematology services include management of sickle cell disease and thalassemia, hemophilia and other bleeding disorders, and a variety of other benign hematology disorders. This position is clinically-focused and includes teaching and mentoring opportunities with the established Pediatric Residency program.
