The Outpatient Bariatric Surgery Program Registered Dietitian I is responsible for:
Medical nutrition therapy to pre and post bariatric surgery program patients.
Position leads and coordinates Bariatric Support Groups
Comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling for disease management
Treatment and prevention
Make recommendations and implement nutrition intervention
Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/23. A graduate degree includes a master’s degree, practice doctorate, doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD or, DSc).
