The role you’ll contribute: The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer uses Ultrasound to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological and functional data to aid the physician in the diagnosis of disease and/or injury while maintaining the highest standard of patient care. The value you’ll bring to the team: ·Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations. ·Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images ·Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings. ·Analyses sonograms synthesizes sonographic information and medical history and communicates findings to the appropriate physician ·Coordinates work schedule with Departmental Director and/or scheduling team to assure workload coverage.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: ·High School Graduate, Satisfactory completion of approved medical sonography program ·Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in one discipline including Abdomen, OB/GYN, Small Parts, Breast or RVT or registry eligible with 12 months to become registered. ·Logo
