Pediatric Hospitalist - Award Winning Hospital Located in the Stately Capital of Florida
Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Hospitalist to join its practice at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare in Tallahassee, Florida.
Multi-specialty practice consisting of pediatric hospitalists, pediatric intensivists, and PNPs, working as a team to provide family centered quality healthcare
The pediatric hospitalist service provides care in the 23-bed pediatric unit, as well as general pediatric admissions and normal newborn care
Schedule of 14 (8 hour) days and 10 (16 hour) nights per month, call from home, flexibility in scheduling
Level-II trauma center with a 10 bed PICU that has over 400 admissions per year
The 32-bed NICU is the only area facility designated as a Level-III and equipped to handle high-risk moms and premature or critically ill babies
Supported by a variety of other specialists including: pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, pediatric neurology and pediatric orthopedics
Friendly, professional atmosphere with great nurses and ancillary services including a PICC team and a full time child life specialist
Teaching opportunities include an affiliation with 4 residency programs
