SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to direct and assist OR Materials Management staff with tasks associated with controlling inventoried medical surgical supplies and equipment. Train OR Materials Management staff in job responsibilities including use of the materials management information system as well as any other applications as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
• Three (3) years of hospital med/surg supply inventory control experience required to include: Materials Management Information System Experience Inventory Transactions (ex. Receipts, Issues, Credits) Inventory Adjustments (ex. Shrinkage, Obsolescence, Conversions, Outdates, Etc.) 
• Perpetual Inventory Experience Cycle Counting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
