Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
- Monday thru Friday, 8am - 5pm in the outpatient clinic only (No inpatient)
- Qualified applicants should have the required skills in facilitating patients with a full range of services within their specialty and scope of practice
- Duties include but will not be limited to providing excellent care for patients in an outpatient setting including diagnosing and treating various conditions, monitoring patients progress and adjust medications as needed, prescribing treatments or medications to best treat patients symptoms and conditions
- Order tests and interpret results to determine the best treatment options
- Maintain appropriate medical records and results
- Hospital privileges are not required
- No nights or weekends coverage required
- Called required - telephonic only
- Established volumes with the ability to see up to around 20 patients per day
- Patient Census - Mostly adults

Required Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine, Allergy & Immunology
- Unrestricted California State Medical License
- Candidates without a California State Medical License will be considered; however, the licensing process takes ~6 months
- Current California DEA certificate required to start
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish speaking
- 1+ year experience working in primary care
California Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $281,002 to $426,720 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
