The role you’ll contribute:
Identifying Strengths & Weaknesses of Doctors, Staff, Patient Experience and Hospital procedures and protocols. Improving Health Care Quality and Efficiency through engagement of medical staff and patients from Pre-Op to Post-Op. Act as clinical liaison among physicians, nursing staff, and administrative staff.

- Able to initiate, identify, and develop/modify individual plans of care, as needed, in coordination with appropriate orthopedic program team members. Evaluates patients' developmental level, identifies physical/emotional needs that may affect treatment, and evaluates support system needs to enhance patient care and outcomes. Initiates age-appropriate care, as required. Ensures that patients' physical, mental, and spiritual needs are met by coordination with appropriate healthcare team members.
- Communicates effectively with physicians, healthcare team, patients, and families to ensure coordinated and cohesive execution of evidence based quality patient care; effectively/consistently facilitates with members of the healthcare team to develop treatment plans, increase patient satisfaction, and address specific patient concerns, establishes/maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients /families.
- Develops, coordinates, and documents patient education and care. Serves as a primary ongoing resource for patients and families during their diagnosis and treatment period; assesses patients' learning style and health literacy to provide education on the appropriate patient level.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, of which a minimum of 1 years. spent in an acute care setting caring for orthopedic surgery patients.
- Experience with projects or program start-up.
- Experience with patient/staff education.
- Valid Colorado RN license.
- BLS.
