Lehigh Valley Health Network, proudly part of Jefferson, is recruiting an attending Vascular Surgeon to take over an established practice from a senior retiring surgeon. The ideal candidate will have an interest and ability in all manner of arterial and venous surgery. Practice locations will include clinic, hospital, OR, and cath lab privileges in the Pocono region of Pennsylvania; in this capacity the successful applicant will partner with a senior surgeon and capable of robust mentorship. There will in addition be clinical opportunities and responsibilities at teaching hospitals in the Lehigh Valley; those locations include vigorous clinical programs in complex aortic surgery, limb salvage, and comprehensive care for venous disease. The interested candidate will also have the opportunity to develop new referral volume in the surrounding regions of Eastern Pennsylvania, including Scranton, and Wilkes-Barre.
There will be an opportunity to teach and mentor medical students, general surgery residents, and integrated vascular residents. Similarly, there will be occasion to conduct clinical research, pursue academic scholarship, participate in regional and national surgical societies, and assume clinical and administrative leadership responsibilities in a financially secure and vigorous regional health care network.

Qualifications
Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery, having trained in an integrated vascular surgery residency or vascular surgery fellowship.
A valid Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
