As a Neurodiagnostic Tech II (EEG Tech) you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests at Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs. Your primary duties will involve:
The Neurodiagnostic Tech II performs procedures appropriate according to the facility policy and procedures,
The Neurodiagnostic Tech II can perform test setup, electrode application, maintaining patient safety and other related duties.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program, or an Associate?s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is desired.
High School Diploma or GED required
BLS issued from the American Heart Association
EEG Tech Certification Required
Schedule: Days with call till 11pm and weekend call that is rotated between all staff
Physical Requirements Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
