We seek a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Hours: Ability to cover shifts Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm PST with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm PST when there are call outs or PTO scheduled
Location Address: Home site will be 2178 Johnson Ave, Suite P1, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, but you will need to help cover PTO/absences at 4444 Calle Real Suite P1, Santa Barbara, CA 93110
Primary Responsibilities:
Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
Works with the Pharmacist to asset in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
Make outgoing calls to coordinate deliveries/obtain clarification from patients to provide high quality service
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of California
Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
1+ years Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
Bilingual in Spanish and English
1+ years of customer service experience
California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
