This tenure-track Occupational Medicine faculty position will begin in Fall 2025. The new faculty will join the Houston location of the School of Public Health with a cross-appointment with the UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School in the Division of General Internal Medicine. The School of Public Health Houston location and McGovern Medical School are in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center www.tmc.edu, the largest medical center in the world.

Candidates for the occupational medicine position should possess an MD/DO degree, board certification in Occupational Medicine/Preventive Medicine (preferred) by the American Board of Preventive Medicine and be eligible for Texas medical licensure.  The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to all missions of the School of Public Health which include education, research, and service. Candidates will be expected to initiate and lead an independent, extramurally funded research program of international caliber in occupational medicine and have a history of external research funding.
