Job DescriptionThe Certified Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for preparing, sterilizing equipment/instruments and tracking them in an accurate and timely manner. This role also prepares operating room case carts, sterile trays and supplies for all areas of the hospital. STERILE PROCESSING CLINICAL DUTIES: Prepares instrumentation and equipment for sterile processing. Verifies the sterilization process. Decontaminates and reprocesses all reusable equipment and instrumentation.
