OverviewThe Clinical Dietitian R. D. in Pediatric Endocrinology will serve as a Pediatric Diabetes Educator responsible for integrating nutritional counseling in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Pediatric Diabetes Program. Use evidence-based research to develop and implement nutrition intervention(s) and monitor and evaluate patient progress. Provide education to the pediatric patients and their families in both WakeMed inpatient and outpatient classroom settings as well as supplemental education for healthcare and school personnel.
