Work Load:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
• 2-3 days per week in clinic, starting at 8 patients per day.
• 2-3 days per week in the O/R
• 1 day per week administrative, education, and research if interested.
• 1/? shared inpatient consult service and call coverage, approximately 4-8 patients per day, with Resident support.
• Hospitalist team covers all admission and discharge responsibilities.
• Reduced clinic loads during inpatient consult days.

Requirements:

• At least 1 state active medical license; no revoked, suspended, probation state licensures
• A degree of MD or equivalent allopathic or osteopathic degree from an accredited institution; or evidence of an ECFMG certificate.
• Completion of Residency Training.
• Board Eligible in OBYGN.
• Selective Service Registration is for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Preferences :

• U.S. Citizenship; in accordance with VA Policy, non-citizens may be considered if no qualified US citizens are selected.
• Board Certified in OBGYN.
• Resident and Fellows Teaching experience
• Most recent past 3 years providing OBGYN services in a United States health system.
