Overview
Under the general supervision of the Director of Information Technology, assumes role for providing/removing access for all identified software applications. Applies structured analysis techniques to operational requirements of each application. Ensures access is provided/removed on a timeline basis per existing policies.
Responsibilities
Follow IS policies and procedures related to the granting and removing of system access. Review new requests for accuracy and applicability, authorization and licensure following departmental procedures, documenting actions taken for periodic audits and reports. Perform system audits to evaluate accuracy and appropriateness of all team member, service, vendor, and service accounts. Maintain advanced level of knowledge of systems, creating accurate standards and procedures for correct task assignment into the security databases, providing documentation for review and inclusion into departmental knowledge base. Work with system owners and outside vendors to ensure the security measures for new and existing systems are operational. Oversee the resetting of passwords for enterprise and departmental applications, creating and modifying access when job profiles or responsibilities change per the security matrix. Complete daily assignment of tasks in accordance with Service Level agreements, documenting activities appropriately, as evidenced by audits of user's system availability when contacting the Customer Support Line. Responsible for the proper configuration of all applications and databases as well as active directory and other user databases as they relate to security. Awareness of and adherence to industry recommended standards and federal regulatory requirements for confidentiality, security, and privacy.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
2 years experience in account provisioning/management in Information Technology applications.
Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to handle complex requests. Self motivation; ability to work independently and productively. Demonstrated skills in the areas of problem solving, customer service, communications and teamwork. Technical knowledge in Local Area Network and Wide Area Network topologies as it relates to the use of Active Directory and access methods desired.
