You Will Be Responsible For:
Oversees the day-to-day operation of Multi-campus Rehabilitation Department.
Directs multi-programs and multi-discipline rehabilitation related activities as it relates to the hospital 5 elements of excellence, vision, mission and core values.
Establishes reporting and approval procedures and delegates sufficient authority to Rehabilitation managers. Communicates to Campus Administration and others the status of departments/programs operations.
Oversees the recruitment, hiring, training, and engagement of rehab personnel, ensuring the development of employee competencies that ensure quality care and optimum outcomes.
Displays and promotes behaviors that enhance patient, families, visitors, physicians, vendors and staff experience. Implements customer service initiatives that are compatible with the campus philosophy.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in healthcare related field
EDUCATION PREFERRED:
Masters degree in business or healthcare administration
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of experience within a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
Three (3) years of Supervisory/Administrative experience.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
Current, valid State of Florida license in physical, occupational, or speech therapy
Job Summary:
The Director manages multi-programs and multi-disciplines rehab related activities, including but not limited to business development, program development, human resources matters, revenue and expenses, labor tracking, standards of practice, policies and procedures, performance improvement initiatives, and staff competency. Implements and monitors standards of excellence in all activities. Ensures adherence to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all applicable, local, state, and federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
