Summary:
Provide gynecological care, family planning advice and prenatal care from puberty to menopause. Provide advice, care and support for women and their partners and families before, during and after childbirth.
Responsibilities:
*Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Plans, implements and evaluates patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
*Performs appropriate emergency interventions and manages complications.
*Provides education/counseling to patient and patient's family with respect to pregnancy, childbirth, care of the newborn, contraception, family planning and gynecological care.
*Provides care in the context of promoting age and culture-appropriate informed choices, shared decision-making and the right to self-determination.
*Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse-Midwifery program.
*State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
*Certified Nurse Midwife.
*Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

*The pay range for this full-time position is $108,472.00 -$168,126.40 annually. Pay is dependent upon relevant experience. If applicable, a quality and/or productivity bonus may be offered.
