Tremendous Opportunity for a Hematologist Oncologist with transplant experience to become a member of an Autologous Transplant Program, along with Cellular Therapy Program, including CAR-T immune therapies and solid tumor CAR-T trials.
The transplant program is based at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest which is a 900+ bed tertiary medical center flagship teaching hospital, with full specialty care and comprehensive residencies, fellowships, and now proudly part of Jefferson, and the Sydney Kimmel Cancer Center. The program will be overseen by Usama Gergis, MD, MBA, Director of Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT) and Professor of Oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia.

Referral access to 32 Hematology/Oncology Physician Colleagues within the Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute for the new Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program, including a malignant hematology subspecialty inpatient service with subspecialists and dedicated APCs with transplant and CAR-T experience.
7000 new analytic cancer cases annually in the program, serving a tertiary care population of over 1 million.
9 Hematology/Oncology Fellows in training, and dedicated APC support.
Blood Banking support, including experience in supporting bone marrow transplant program.
24/7 Neuro ICU in house intensivist, sophisticated Medical ICU with full capabilities, largest Emergency Room in the state, full complement of Medical Specialties being organized to support the program.
Access to more than 150 clinical trials, including NCI Cooperative Group trials through membership in the Michigan NCORP, MSKCC trials, and large cohort of Immuno-Oncology trials with Pharma.
