New Family Center Opportunities

Our New Family Center provides couplet care for postpartum mothers and their infants following vaginal and cesarean section deliveries. We focus on providing family-centered care to help ensure a successful transition home. 

Patient Ratios: 6:1 (3 moms and 3 babies)

Number of Beds: 24

Unit selling points: Our team includes nurses, PCTs and lactation consultants. We have amazing teamwork on the unit and many staff members have been a part of the unit for a long time. 

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Irving, located in Irving, Texas is part of Baylor Scott & White Health System. Established in 1964 as a community hospital, funded through the Irving Hospital Authority, the facility now offers 293?licensed beds. Registered Nurse Requirements 

 Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program 

·                     License/Certification  

o        RN - Registered Nurse 

o        BLS - Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
