Summary:

The Charge Capture Analyst reviews patient records for reimbursement of hospital services. The Capture Analyst identifies opportunities for charging on focus areas within Charge Capture. This individual performs chart audits, prepares reports, and educates staff to meet compliance on the electronic health record.

Responsibilities:

Accurately reviews and corrects charge capture data.

Performs chart audits as assigned and identifies charge opportunities on retrieved health records.

Compiles and analyzes data to present to leadership on a regular basis.

Demonstrates an understanding of medical jurisprudence with regard to accurate charging and related documentation.

Other duties as assigned.

Education:
