Summary:
Under the direction of the Director, this position performs a variety of operational duties; facilitates communication between staff of the health centers, Office of Public Health, and hospital; expedites interdepartmental correspondence re: ordering and distributing equipment, materials, and supplies; and supports accounts receivable/payable. Tracks data and prepares financial reports for the 17 School Based Health Centers for CHRISTUS CLA, and the 5 centers for CHRISTUS SWLA. The Site Coordinator for Athena Health EMR and LAHIE utilized by the 22 Health Centers operated by CHRISTUS in Louisiana.
Per the Departments Scope of Practice, this position requires providing operational/technical assistance in daily operations to health centers staff in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served. The major emphasis of the position is to insure sound financial bookkeeping, data collection and appropriate billing for SBHC and Community Outreach This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. It is expected that the associate demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core values. The associate shall support the CHRISTUS St. Frances Health System?s strategic plan and the goals and direction of their Performance improvement Plan (PIP).
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Proficient in computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel. Power Point, etc., copier, calculator, fax, and multiple phone lines. Proficient with the Data Collection System, ICD-10, CPT coding for Medicaid billing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
