The Department of Pathology at University Hospitals of Cleveland (UH) and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine is seeking pathologists to join our Division of Community Hospitals Pathology to provide services for our growing network of community hospitals. Practice opportunities will include practice in a community hospital setting combined with participation in subspecialty services in collaboration with the Division of Anatomic Pathology at UH Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC), our academic medical center. The Division of Community Hospitals Pathology includes 16 pathologists and has close interactions and consultative arrangements with over 60 pathologists in the Divisions of Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Genomic and Molecular Pathology at UHCMC.
The University Hospitals Heath System includes 14 wholly owned or affiliated community hospitals throughout Northeast Ohio as well as UHCMC, adjacent to the campus of Case Western Reserve University in the University Circle neighborhood of Cleveland.
Applicants should be board-certified in AP/CP and qualified for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Ohio. Subspecialty fellowship in Cytopathology or a surgical pathology subspecialty and/or previous experience are desirable, as is experience in laboratory medical directorship. Flexibility and the ability to travel between and work at multiple community hospitals is necessary.
