**Hybrid, usually 1 ? 2 days per week remote**
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for identifying and executing against performance improvement opportunities; applying process improvement / operational excellence principles, systems and tools; and designing programs that enable enterprise deployment of a continuous improvement culture. Manages multiple highly complex improvement teams, process owners, stakeholders and leadership to achieve engagement goals and reach successful business outcomes. Tasks include proficient/expert application of PI/PM core competencies, methodologies and extended competencies/methods within Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, Project Management, Facilitation and additional Statistical Analysis, High Reliability, Human Factors, Innovation Science, etc.
This position is also responsible for training and coaching learners, Associates, Consultants, process owners, operational leaders and stakeholders and may have direct reports (Associates, Consultants and/or Training Coordinator).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, healthcare or related field required.
Five (5) years of job related experience required, including working in problem solving teams with demonstrated experience facilitating meetings, teams and activities.
Three (3) years of experience must involve managing improvement projects using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies and interfacing with diverse stakeholder groups and all levels of the organization that involved the application of rapid cycle improvement results (RIE, Kaizens, PDSA cycles).
Certified Lean Practitioner (Black Belt)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Strongly prefer candidates with a healthcare background
Certified Lean Six Sigma black belt/MBB preferred
Master's degree preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking, systems thinking, problem solving and decision making skills.
Ability to act as a change agent in the pursuit of operational excellence, including consistently delivering on and exceeding customer expectations and building a continuous improvement culture with front line problem solvers.
Ability to actively listen and provide meaningful/relevant feedback.
Strong leadership qualities with executive presence and self-awareness, including the ability to motivate, teach, and facilitate individuals and groups, including peers.
Ability to easily adapt to changing conditions/requirements.
High level statistical analysis, including planning data collection requirements and conducting studies using Minitab, excel or other programs skills.
Project scoping, planning, executing using work breakdown structures and standard PMI project management methodologies including risk/issue identification and mitigation skills.
Expert Lean skills ? Value Stream Mapping, Rapid Improvement Events, Standard Work, 5S, Pull, Changeover, 3P, etc.
Management Operating Systems ? Daily and Strategic
Expert Six Sigma skills ? Voice of the Customer, FMEA, CTQ, MSA, Regression Models, Fit Test, following DMAIC/DMADV, etc.
Expert Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement strategy skills.
Expert Facilitation skills ? group and classroom.
Strategy alignment/deployment skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in related field preferred.
Skills in Human Factor, Human Centered Design, industry training and other supporting methodologies preferred.
