The sonographer provides clinical support and is responsible for performing all vascular imaging as it pertains to patient needs. Perform non-invasive vascular exams in order to assess for vascular disease or disorders which include, but are not limited to: upper and lower venous duplex exams, upper and lower arterial physiologic and duplex exams, carotid artery duplex exam; duplex exam of graft/fistula; and renal artery duplex exams. Performs measurements and calculations according to policy and/or protocol.

Qualifications
Minimum Education -High school diploma or equivalent X Required -Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, a certificate vascular program or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Ultrasound program.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications Must be registered by one of the following: Registered Vascular Sonographer through ARDMS or Registered through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Minimum Work Experience One-year experience is preferred.
Availability Must be available to take call, work weekends and Holidays on a rotating basis.
