Schedule: Part-Time Days
Shift:
Will work three shifts, Monday thru Friday days will vary
Hours would be 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
Every 5th weekend Saturday and Sunday 6:00 am to 5:30 pm

The role you’ll contribute:
The Housekeeper maintains a clean and orderly condition throughout the institution in patient care and ancillary areas. Provides; waste removal and disposal, moving furniture, washing windows, moping, sweeping and waxing floors. Strives for and ensures customer satisfaction in all areas of responsibility. Records and submits all documentation as requested by the supervisor. Housekeepers assist with the education and training of staff. Practices cost containment involving supplies and equipment. Position is knowledgeable in the proper use of chemicals, equipment and supplies.

Uses appropriate guidelines for housekeeping infection control
Utilizes waste management in the room care setting
Provides excellent customer service to everyone
Performs the “step cleaning method”
Uses the capacity management program
Moves furniture
Removes all waste, garbage from all departments within the hospital and clinics.
Qualifications
You will be responsible for:
Prepares hot food according to standardized recipes in the correct amounts for patients, staff and cafeteria.
Displays goods decision-making, excellent communication skills, and a professional manner in all aspects of work.
Utilizes and manages resources appropriately and ensures food safety is performed at all times.
Performs areas sanitation tasks including cleaning of all cooking equipment and work stations.
Rotates stock to ensure standards are being met. Labels and dates food items according to procedure.
Initiates and implements new recipe ideas for catering and cafeteria.
Maintains a high degree of initiative to prevent waste and makes effective use of leftovers.
Continually evaluates ways to control food and supply costs.
What Will You Need?
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience with healthcare cooking Preferred
Previous food service experience Preferred
ServSafe Certification Preferred
