Neurodiagnostic Technologist I
OverviewThe Neurodiagnostic Technologist I provides neurological tests to inpatients and outpatients of the Hospital and Children?s hospital to assist in the diagnose and treatment of nervous system disorders. Neurological studies are completed through the application of acquired knowledge, skills and use of specialized electronic instrumentation and communicated directly with physicians. Aside from performing a wide range of tests, Neurodiagnostic Technologists are also responsible for patient interactions, documentation, monitoring and recording significant events during the study, calibrating and maintaining testing equipment, consulting with physicians to review tests as well as quality assurance and performance improvement projects.
