Nemours is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Orlando, Florida.

This position is responsible for: Coordination, management, and supervision of maintenance staff for the maintenance of the assigned buildings and grounds to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all occupants and visitors.

• Manage facilities operations for buildings and grounds maintenance.
• Complete and/or delegate daily work orders and monthly PMs to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure that the property and facility is maintained in a manner designed to provide for the physical comfort and safety of associates, and visitors.
• Enforce approved contracts related to the operations and maintenance of the facility.
• Coordinate and work with vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of exterior and interior surfaces, and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable occupancy charters of the NFPA Life Safety Code, OSHA Codes, and all other applicable codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with Facilities Manager in scheduling of Paid Time Off for staff.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Vocational Training Certificate for construction, electrical, plumbing, carpentry or HVAC preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience required.
• Clean driving record is required.
