Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Transfer Agent for Atlantic Mobile Health located in Florham Park. Required hours are night shifts and weekends as requested by department.

*Answer incoming calls.
*Convey messages to RNs in a timely manner.
*Obtain information to complete initial intake.
*Make calls to sending/receiving hospitals to request/collect face sheets, demographics.
*Receive/send faxes.
*Competently use various office equipment for communication and office functions.
*Call transport companies to arrange transportation for patients transfer including requesting appropriate mode of transport.
*Use various software applications, communication systems and other office systems proficiently.
*Highly proficient in data entry and typing skills.
*Communicate transfer info to various departments involved in patient transfer.

*Perform quality audit of charts/data.
*Prepare various reports, case audit and other duties as assigned.
*Excellent communication skills and a positive demeanor to be a team player essential.
