South Texas Dermatopathology Practice has been serving our local community with integrity and precision. Our commitment to delivering high-quality dermatopathology services enables us to work collaboratively with dermatologists and health facilities. Our comprehensive diagnostic and consultative services include innovative technology, rapid turnaround times and educational resources. We also have an exceptional team of board-certified dermatopathologists who collect and study a variety of specimens to provide accurate diagnoses related to skin disorders and diseases.

We are seeking a Dermatopathologist to join our practice.

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Days: Monday - Friday

PRN/Limited Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate diagnoses of specimens, from both glass slide and digital formats.
• Provide microscopic dictations, and, at times, gross evaluations when appropriate.
• Be available for physicians and staff to discuss specimen handling, diagnosis, and management, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management, co-workers, and clients to provide quality medical care and customer service.

Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D. /D.O.) with completion of residency training (either dermatology or pathology).
• Eligible for an unrestricted Minnesota medical license.
• Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology and/or Dermatology.
• A minimum of 1-4 years' experience including fellowship training.
• Dermatopathology fellowship training required with Board Certification/Eligibility
• Excellent communication skills are a priority.
• The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations.
