Position: RN Cardiovascular ICU

Location:  The Baylor Heart Hospital Denton - 2801 S Mayhill Rd, Denton TX 76208 

Patient Population:?All things CV from STEMI to LVAD implantation, Cardiogenic shock, AAA, CABG, Valve, TAVR, Devices include TPW, IABO, Impella, TTM, lumbar drain and CRRT. 

Hours: FT Staff / Night Shift / 3/12?s per week / 7pm-7am

CUB Unit: 1st Floor, 22 beds, 24-hour unit

Required Experience: Candidates MUST have minimum (1) one year (prefer 2+ years) of recent, full time bedside Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU or Cardiovascular PCU.

Patient Ratios: Tele 4:1/PCU 3:1/ICU 2:1/CVICU 1:1

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• A current and valid nursing license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Required Experience: Candidates MUST have minimum (1) one year (prefer 2+ years) of recent, full time bedside Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU or Cardiovascular PCU.
