ScionHealth is recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Human Resources team! Preferred candidates will reside in either Louisville, Kentucky or Nashville, Tennessee.  Remote candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Job Summary

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for supporting data management with creation/administration of databases, reports, and queries in order to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve business results.  Manages process improvement/streamlining projects.

Essential Functions

• Analyzes, develops, and administers complex digital database designs, logical data models, relational data definitions, query access, dashboards and reporting capabilities in support of IS and business requirements. 
• Coordinates with various departments to obtain data needed for updates to databases, dashboards and reports.
• Identifies and resolves information flow, content issues, and transformation of business requirements into logical data models.
• Maintains job codes in SAP for newly created positions, including coordination among several IS and Support Center departments to ensure jobs are set up and ready for use by facilities and Support Center.  Troubleshoots any related issues.
• Serves as technical subject matter expert and administrator of marketing pricing system, including security administration, ad hoc reporting, troubleshooting, liaison with vendor, and change implementation.
• Participates/leads in project planning and implementation, including analysis of existing processes and procedures, developing recommendations for streamlining/improvement, collaboration with multiple departments, project plan development.
• Develops all training materials for assigned applications.  Identifies and trains all applicable new hires.
• Solicits feedback and guidance of department goals, objectives, and best practices from supervisor.
• Continually enhances knowledge in order to achieve departmental success and professional growth.

Education

• Minimum of Associate?s degree and 5 years database design and management and/or equivalent experience.

Licenses/Certification

• Business Analyst certification would contribute to the successful performance of Essential Functions.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years? current experience providing data management support, including experience with multiple database applications and project management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Current working knowledge of methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations.
• Proven expertise in current database and programming applications (e.g., Access, Visual Basic, PowerBI).
• Previous experience with and/or ability to quickly learn systems and technologies specifically in use at ScionHealth (e.g., SAP).
• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion regarding confidential and proprietary data.
• Ability to manage projects, ensuring that projects are clearly defined, systematically executed, and results oriented.  Adherence to Project Management processes and standards within the organization are required.
• Capable of working independently and delivering appropriate and timely feedback to management and team members as required.
