The role you’ll contribute:  

 Supervises MRI directly.  Ensures that staffing and workflow are progressing in an efficient and effective manner.  Performs MRI procedures and examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.  Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as assigned.  The Technologist works closely with the Radiology Manager to manage whatever challenges arise in MRI.

The value you’ll bring to the team:  

·  Responsible to coordinate daily work.

·  Responsible for maintaining MRI work schedule.

·  Adjusts staff coverage of MRI area to maintain adequate, but not excessive, coverage at all times.

·  Responsible for quality control in the MRI department.

·  Responsible for annual reviews of MRI staff. 

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:  

·  Associate degree and 5 years’ experience or AART certified.

·  At least five years of experience as certified and registered ARRT, MRT.

·  Must be Registered ARRT technologist.  (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Must be State licensed.

·  Must have MRI registry.
