The Clinical APP Manager (Medicine Division) for the South Region will oversee APP operations and strategy for the Medicine Specialties. The Manager will work with the Service Line Administrators, Physician Leaders, APP Team Leads and Office Managers/Support Personnel to ensure that APPs are focusing on promise dashboard initiatives, advancing APP score of practice/ensuring APPs are working at the top of their licensure and efforts focused on recruiting and retaining APPs.
Position Details:
Full-time, Rotating Schedule
80% Clinical time; 20% Admin time (10 hours per week)
100% outpatient
Expected patient volume is contingent on provider specialty
Number of physicians and APPs in the practice is contingent on provider specialty
Responsibilities:
Assists with planning and directing the operational activities of the APPs within the Service Line operated by the organization
Oversee adherence to the organization policies and proper communication to and involvement of APPs across the departments
Plans, organizes, and directs daily operations to include staffing, practice growth, process improvement, retention and clinical competency
Qualifications:
Masters Prepared Advanced Provider or MSN from an accredited school
Must be BC
ACNP, AGNP, CAA, CRNA, CNM, CNS, FNP, NNP, PNP, PMHNP or PA certification required
At least 3-5 years of APP Experience required
Thorough knowledge of health care delivery and management, basic accounting and finance, and health care legislation
Requires ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources
Requires advanced interpersonal skills necessary to interact in complex situations, work cooperatively with peers, senior management and represent the Company to a variety of external vendors and professional organizations
Analytical and quantitative skills necessary in order to organize, coordinate, and assess potential plans and programs
Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgement, discretion and decision making to achieve operational objectives
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Requires ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships
Requires the ability to plan and manage the utilization of personnel resources
Requires ability to take initiative and meet objectives
Knowledge of computer systems and applications required
Ability to occasionally lift/move/carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
