Position Summary

This position performs a variety of clerical, administrative, and customer service functions to support retail pharmacy operations in accordance with state and federal regulations. This position assists with management of medication and supply inventories, packaging and shipping of orders for home delivery, cashiering, answering and triaging telephone calls, resolving customer service issues, document management, and filing and documentation of third-party reimbursement. This position receives supervision of work activities from outpatient pharmacists and outpatient pharmacy leadership; this role does not supervise any other position.

Education

• High School diploma or GED Certificate. (Required)

Experience

• Experience with various types of computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite. (Preferred)
• Experience as a cashier or operation of Point of Sale systems. (Preferred)
• One year customer service experience or combination of experience and education. (Preferred)
• Previous experience as a clerk in a retail service environment. (Preferred)
