Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA), Urgent Care (PRN), Lumberton, Pembroke, & St. Pauls, NC
UNC Health Urgent Care seeks PRN Family Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants, at our locations in Lumberton, Pembroke, and St. Paul?s.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program. Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. Board certification if required by the Department. Ability to see all ages.
Professional Experience Requirements: APP experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.

Located in Robeson County, North Carolina, ideally located near I-95 minutes north of the South Carolina border. Lumberton is one-and-a-half hours from Raleigh and two-and-a-half hours from Charlotte. Popular beach cities, such as Myrtle Beach, are an hour away! The city is full of history, culture and fun. Hike or bike on the Riverwalk near Historic Downtown, canoe down the Lumber River and enjoy the local festivals and downtown events.
