Principal Accountabilities:

1. Interviews patients for case histories prior to appointments.
2. Schedules and coordinates appointments.
3. Accurately updates and maintains patients' health records.
4. Performs patient registration and verifies insurance coverage.
5. Communicates with patients and uses the EMR to send a message to appropriate staff to address patient questions and concerns.
6. Ensures contacting patients regarding appointments, answering any scheduling questions.
8. Assists patients with re-scheduling appointments and other scheduling issues.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
