We are a certified STEMI and STROKE facility. It is fast-paced and being proactive is the best way to complete your tasks.

We are not a specialty unit; we need to know a little about a lot of medical problems. In Med Surg, we see it all, we get to have a relationship with our patients as well as help in their health journey, we care for everyone and in doing so create a good, trusting healthcare experience. In Addition: We have created small groups so all staff members can be involved with quality metrics and know what they are doing is making an impact.

Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
What You'll Do
- You, as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.
- Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families.
- As a Registered Nurse you are creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving issues.
- As an RN, will help educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly.
- Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
- You'll use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff. Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
- You, as an RN will achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, commit to growth. Contribute to peers' development, show community service commitment.
What Will Make You Successful In The Registered Nurse Role
- A deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, as well as procedures.
- Know nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines in your area. Understand hospital procedures and rules.

Qualifications
- Grad of an Accredited Program
- Specialized field of study should be nursing.
- A current and valid nursing license.
- Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
