Incumbent is assigned to the Mental Health program at Sonora ,CA and functions as a member of a Behavioral Health interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) team. Social Work Services are carried out in full accordance with specific program goals and broad objectives of the VA health care system. Responsibilities are focused on providing direct services, as well as consultative and educational activities. Incumbent employs full range of treatment modalities with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
