Position Summary:
Assumes an active role in delivery of quality technology and information to support, promote, and enhance the organization's ability for effective decision making, patient care, education, and research. Serves as an application specialist who uses knowledge and experience and a self-directed approach to develop and establish computer application solutions. The analyst is flexible and innovative. The analyst operates with a thorough understanding of the organization's needs and goals. The analyst collaborates with customers, vendors, other IT professionals, and organization personnel to meet challenges and coordinate institutional resources in order to maximize efficiency and achieve quality outcomes

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor?s Degree or Associate?s Degree, or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
Two years? experience in computer applications development/support, or equivalent experience. Healthcare experience helpful.
Ability to sit for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). Ability to reach above and below the waist, turn, twist and manipulate small tools (copier, printer, computer, telephone, facsimile machine). Ability to move frequently in the completion of job requirements. Ability to repetitively move the hands when typing. Ability to see well enough to read handwritten and typewritten material. Good hearing is needed for frequent telephone use. Ability to handle a variety of repetitive tasks. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks under deadlines and with short notice. Ability to use computer and software programs, facsimile machine, copy machine, telephone and printers Ability to work with a culturally diverse population
