Summary:
Oversees day-to-day activities for the Ingram Institute for Equitable Health Care access within the UNC Health Care System. This position will serve as the project manager for multiple community and academic partners focusing on developing programs that support pathway initiatives for workforce development. Responsibilities include developing, coordinating, and overseeing collaborative initiatives between the health system and academic institutions. This role ensures the successful implementation of educational and workforce development programs that align with the organization's strategic goals. The Project Manager will work closely with healthcare leaders, academic faculty, students, and clinical staff to enhance learning experiences, streamline processes, and foster innovation in education and practice integration.
Responsibilities:
1.Serve as the primary liaison in the management of identified projects for key stakeholders within the health system and partner academic institutions to support clinical education, workforce development, and research initiatives.
2.Manage the planning, execution, and evaluation of academic practice partnership projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
3.Develop and maintain project timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics to ensure program success.
4.Support grant applications, reporting, and compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements related to academic partnerships.
5.Identify opportunities for research collaboration and quality improvement projects that enhance patient care outcomes.
6.Monitor trends in healthcare education and workforce development to propose innovative solutions and strategies.
7.Organize and lead meetings, workshops, and presentations to engage stakeholders and disseminate best practices.
8.Strategic Planning Interface with all UNC Health Care entities and effectively communicate strategies, successfully elicit support and provide assistance implementing those strategies.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree
Professional Experience Requirements:
Five (5) years of program/project management experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Knowledge of clinical education processes, accreditation standards, and regulatory compliance.
Healthcare background/experience is preferred.
Experience with grant writing and academic program coordination is a plus.
