As the Senior Manager of Managed Care Systems, you will be ensuring the seamless integration and enhancement of our managed care applications. You will lead cross-functional teams in optimizing system functionality, providing crucial technical expertise, and driving efficiency across our operations. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our managed care systems are not only running smoothly but are also evolving to meet the demands of a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide strategic oversight and leadership for managed care systems and applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimization.
Serve as a technical lead and liaison, overseeing the implementation and management of managed care systems within the department.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality, drive efficiency, and support operational goals.
Assist Managed Care leadership with strategic planning related to product roadmap and customer engagement strategies.
Facilitate access to and training on managed care products, promoting adoption across customer groups.
Salary Range: $112,900 - $256,900/annually
Qualifications
We’re seeking a strategic, technically proficient leader with:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field and/or equivalent experience
Five years of experience in systems architecture or IT management, ideally within healthcare or managed care settings
Relevant certifications in systems architecture, project management (e.g., PMP), or healthcare IT (e.g., CPHIMS) are preferred
Deep understanding of managed care principles, healthcare regulations, and expertise in physician/facility billing practices, including CPT, ICD-10, Revenue, and HCPCS coding
Proven track record in leading large-scale IT projects, with experience in system integration and product lifecycle management
Strong technical skills in system architecture design, IT infrastructure, Oracle, SQL Server, and Business Intelligence tools, coupled with a solid knowledge of healthcare information systems (e.g., EHR, HL7, FHIR)
Familiarity with cloud computing, data integration tools, and cybersecurity best practices
Exceptional leadership abilities, with a talent for influencing and guiding cross-functional teams, coupled with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the agility to manage shifting priorities, meet deadlines, and provide excellent customer service
Proficiency in using software such as Project, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint to support project management and decision-making
