WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Diabetes and Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our group at FPN Diabetes & Endocrinology Specialists Indianapolis on the south side of Indianapolis, Indiana. Interested candidate will be joining an established, collegial practice with a skilled provider team.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have past or present endocrinology experience, strong focus on clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• No call expectation
• Outpatient coverage
• Average outpatient volume: 18 - 20 patients per day
• Extensive resources including onsite Clinical Diabetes Educators
• Potential outreach to surrounding locations
• Common Diagnoses:
  • Type I Diabetes
  • Type II Diabetes
  • Insulin pumps
  • Continuous Glucose Monitoring
  • Primary Hyperparathyroidism
  • Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism
  • Hypogonadism
  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
  • Pituitary-Adrenal Disorders

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree - Required
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - Required - or
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
