BJC has a great opportunity for a Project Engineer.  Ideal candidate would have some experience in construction management or architecture.  

This is a hybrid position.

PD&C provides professional support for system-wide comprehensive strategic facility plans for the various campuses within BJC. Providing integrated design planning the group brings process excellence and standardization in planning including a reliable estimating, scheduling and cost forecasting system. They serve as educators for their customers bringing strong resources to the system, and reviewing all efforts with an eye towards environmental impact. The department provides the necessary selection, contracting, supervision, management and leadership of system-wide program management services for capital design and construction projects. They are accountable for developing, implementing and maintaining the policies, procedures and systems supporting capital projects executed to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction and increase the productivity and financial results of all BJC facilities. The department also provides leadership and technical direction in the development of program control, benchmarking and measurement standards that meet the demands of the strategic needs of BJC HealthCare

Role Purpose

Provides the necessary support for project managers and directors in the supervision, direction, coordination and management control for design and construction projects in a manner that is consistent with and meets the demands of the strategic needs of the BJC HealthCare.
