The Alexandria VA Medical Center in Alexandria/Pineville, LA, is seeking a full-time, BC, Diagnostic Radiologist to serve as its Chief of Diagnostic Radiology. Highlights of this position include:

• Competitive Starting Salary $255,000 to $360,000
• Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm
• Position is on-station at the Alexandria VAMC, Pineville, LA – not telemedicine eligible
• Direct patient care, clinical work, oversight, and administration of all aspects of the service
• Shall maintain approximately 20 percent to 50 percent clinical duties; 50 to 70 percent administrative duties
• Ability to work independently; supervision is mainly advisory in nature
• Attendance at required meetings; (e.g. Chair, Hospital Committee)
• Monitoring, reporting, and acting on residency and fellowship program, as well as oversight of residents and fellows as applicable
• Additional Administrative duties not covered above

Additional Requirements:

• Board Certified in Radiology/Imaging
• Experience in Radiology/Imaging Department Management
• Prefer at least one year experience at the Service Chief level
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
• One full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
