·Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando
·Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America
·AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country

The role you’ll contribute:
The Analytics Manager leads a team that provides data and analyses for AdventHealth’s strategic initiatives. The role requires knowledge in process improvement, quality management, statistical analysis, information systems, data analysis, and systems design. The candidate must prioritize and manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain excellent customer relationships while effectively interacting with stakeholders. They should translate client problems into actionable solutions with diplomacy and flexibility. Oversight of schedules, accuracy, reliability, and quality is essential to ensure timely completion of milestones. The candidate will manage and develop team members handling complex data from various sources, participate in business meetings to report on improvement initiatives, and provide operational direction for projects. They must also deliver outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.

·Facilitate cross-functional meetings and discussions to address roadblocks and ensure critical milestones and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
·Travel between local locations as required for meetings & observations.
·Prioritize and manage multiple competing projects, deadlines.
·Actively engage with internal and external customers to manage expectations and prioritize assignments.
·Interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior executives and physicians, to affect change within the organization in alignment with strategic goals.
·Work independently leading projects of moderate to high impact or complexity.
·Provide project guidance to other team members and may assign support tasks/responsibilities as necessary.
·Handle change management concerns and address political issues that may interfere with projects.
·Develop Business Models that support the short and long-term roadmaps for the organization.
·Establish departmental standards and roles.
·Manage the recruitment, retention, training, and competence of team members.
·Conduct timely performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions as required.
·Mentor and develop team members in tools and methodologies.
·Responsible for successful management and execution of strategic initiatives
·Investigate, recommend, validate, and deploy tools and other information systems selected as organizational resources.
·Oversee development of performance measurement systems including but not limited to databases, benchmarking, scorecard deployment, and documentation.
·Maintains data governance.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
·Applied experience with data management, visualization, and statistical analysis tools and techniques.(Excel, PowerBI, Qlikview, Tableau, Minitab, R, Strata, SAS, Access, or similar products)
·Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively summarize data, present insights, and facilitate discussion of results.
·Ability to succinctly translate high level concepts into actionable items.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to individuals and audiences throughout the institution.
·Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to focus detailed, concentrated effort on multiple projects and re-establish priorities as necessary.
·Ability to lead a project independently with little to no direction and manage multiple projects simultaneously while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork.
·Ability to transfer clients’ perceptions of problems into viable solutions.Utilizes diplomacy skills and flexibility in response to clients’ changing concerns.
·Proven leadership ability
·Attention to detail that ensures follow-through on all initiatives implemented and all projects undertaken.
·Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access) and database management applications.
·Knowledge of current issues in the healthcare environment, particularly regarding quality measurement, outcomes studies, healthcare finance, and patient safety.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
·Familiar with surveys and applications to national recognition programs (US News, Leapfrog, BEACON, centers of excellence, etc.) and ability to develop gap reports and analyses to improve submissions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·Bachelor's degree w four (4) or more years of relevant experience, or Master's degree w three (3) or more years of relevant experience
·1 or more years of experience leading/managing teams, projects, committees and /or related work
·Data management and information systems experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
·Master's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Health Care, Information Systems, or Business
·Two (2) years' relevant experience in the health care industry
·Experience in one or more of the following: data management, analytics, information systems, project management, systems engineering, and/or statistics
·Familiar with but not limited to MS Access, visualization and statistical analysis software (Excel, PowerBI, Minitab, Tableau, Qlikview, R, Strata, SAS, etc)
·Experience in data management tools and techniques
·Strong experience with data mining/extraction tools (merging dimensions, custom SQL)

·Clinical licensure
·Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma Green Belt or above (Black Belt)
·Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or above (PMP)
·Change Management Certification
·Agile Certified Scrum Master
·Certifications in Microsoft applications or professional business software
